OPEN HOUSES SCHEDULED ON MAJOR GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENTS

Two open houses have been scheduled for proposed General Plan Amendments in Scottsdale:

** An open house from 6 to 8 p.m. June 6 at the city's Water Campus, 8787 E. Hualapai Dr.

** An open house from 8 a.m. to noon June 24 in the first floor conference room of One Civic Center, 7447 E. Indian School Road.

Major General Plan Amendments are required to go through a series of meetings in accordance with city ordinance and state law.

The Planning Commission remote hearing on proposed amendments is scheduled for Aug. 24, with the regular Planning Commission meeting scheduled for Sept. 28. The City Council hearing is scheduled for Oct. 24. More information is available online at: http://www.scottsdaleaz.gov/generalplan
