BOWLING FUNDRAISER HELPS POLICE "S.M.I.L.E." PROGRAM
May 13 , 2005 by EditorResidents are invited to participate in a charity bowling event to benefit the Scottsdale Police Department's S.M.I.L.E. child safety program.
S.M.I.L.E. (Safety & Magic In Law Enforcement) is a program to teach children the "ABC's" of Safety. The message of "Always Be Careful" instills life long safety messages to people of all ages!
The charity bowling event takes place from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 14, at the AMF Bowling Alley, 816 E. Main St. in Mesa, on the northeast corner of Main and Horne. The cost is $20 per person (includes shoe rental, soda, popcorn and two hours of bowling). Proceeds will benefit S.M. I.L.E.
