Mayor Dunn to speak at Cancer fund-raising event

Dunn will address participants at this year’s Relay For Life Chandler -- a fun-filled overnight activity that mobilizes the Chandler community to celebrate cancer survivorship, remember those who lost their lives to cancer, and raise money for the fight against cancer.
An American Cancer Society signature activity, the event will be held at Tumbleweed Park, 2250 S. McQueen Road, on Saturday, April 2, beginning at 6 p.m.
This is a team activity for all ages and all backgrounds -- Cancer doesn’t discriminate. The goal is to register 75 teams and raise $75,000 dollars.
Corporate sponsorships, food, raffle prizes, entertainment and volunteers are also needed. To form a team and participate in Relay For Life Chandler, or to make a donation, contact Shelly Fowler at 480-786-3288.
