Pirates Rule The Evening at Gala 2005
January 11 , 2005 by EditorPirates commandeer the Herberger Theater Center’s Gala 2005 on January 21 beginning at 6:00pm. The swashbuckling evening includes dinner on the Herberger plaza, entertainment by the Bige Brothers Steel Drum Duo, silent auction, raffle and Arizona Theatre Company’s production of The Pirates of Penzance. Hugh and Ruth Downs are serving as Honorary Chairs and Mary Holland and Dan Vermillion are Event Chairs. Attire is cocktail.Also included in the evening is the induction of Kax and Robert Herberger into the Performing and Broadcast Arts Hall of Fame. This prestigious award is presented by the Herberger Theater Center to honor an Arizona native or resident that has achieved national or international acclaim in the fields of Performing Arts and/or Broadcast Communications.

Tickets are $200 or $2,000 for a table of 10. Proceeds from this event provide support for community and educational outreach programs for children and adults, as well as administrative and technical support necessary to keep costs as low as possible for the Herberger Theater Center’s resident and non-resident companies.
