Notice of Maricopa County pesticide fogging for mosquitoes in Mesa
July 30 , 2004 by EditorThe City of Mesa has received notification from Maricopa County that the following area will be subject to pesticide fogging:
Date of Application: July 29, 2004 (Weather Permitting: Windy conditions may cancel application)
Time of Application: After 10:00 PM to 4:00 AM (Contact county at number below for more precise timeline)
Location #1: Northern Boundary - Baseline Road
Southern Boundary - Western Canal
Eastern Boundary - Alma School Road
Western Boundary - 101 Freeway
Questions regarding this program should be referred to Maricopa County Vector Control at 602-506-6616.
The purpose of this fogging is to reduce the spread of the West Nile virus. The City of Mesa will continue to distribute information regarding future fogging activities as soon as it receives notification from county officials.
