Updated Arizona Map Index Available
May 13 , 2005 by EditorTopographic maps are a major navigational tool used by those who work and play in the great Arizona outdoors. With more than 2,000 maps available, choosing the right one can be a problem.
Wide World of Maps has just published a new, updated index map to make this task easier. This newly updated (9th edition) index provides a grid of the map titles over a background of an Arizona road map showing the major road system, waterways, and towns. The colorful map index is filled with useful information and includes hundreds of new maps that have been added over the past few years. The back of the 23"x35" index has a helpful catalog of other products such as GPS units, map software, compasses, binoculars, and many hard-to-find books and specialty map titles for hiking, hunting, fishing, regional travel, and other special outdoor interests. "With this index it’s easy to select the map for the area you want," says Wide World of Maps’ President James Willinger.
The index costs only $3.00 and can be found at the Wide World of Maps locations in Phoenix, Mesa and their new Scottsdale store location. It’s also available at the MAPS4U.com website, or by sending $3.00 and your name and address to MAPS, 1444 W. Southern Ave, Mesa, AZ 85202.
