City Seeks Metro Light Rail Business Advocate

The city of Phoenix is looking for an experienced business consultant to work as a business advocate for companies located along the Phoenix METRO light rail route. This advocate will identify resources and provide information to businesses located on Washington Street from 26th to approximately 56th streets, within the area identified as Line Section 4.

The business advocate will determine the needs of individual business owners and work closely with the city of Phoenix Community and Economic Development Department's Light Rail Transit (LRT) team to make referrals to programs and services offered by the city or other business assistance partners.

Packets can be downloaded from the city's web site at phoenix.gov/BUSINESS/busadrfq.html or picked up at the Community and Economic Development Department, Phoenix City Hall, 200 W. Washington St., 20th Floor.

Interested parties may attend a pre-proposal conference at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8, in Phoenix City Hall, conference room 20 West. Anyone planning to submit a Qualification Statement is encouraged to attend. Qualification Statements, in hard copy format, are due in the Community and Economic Development Department by 5 p.m. MST Thursday, Dec. 30, 2004. Postmarks will not be accepted.
