Blue Ribbon Status Awarded to Vista Paiute Job Preparation Program

The Vista Paiute Job Preparation program, a program run in collaboration between Concerned Citizens for Community Health and the City of Scottsdale Vista del Camino Center was chosen as a “Blue Ribbon Agency” by Jerry Colangelo’s group a Collaboration for a New Century, press release below-
Blue Ribbon Agency Status Benefits Scottsdale Residents
With a new designation as a Blue Ribbon Agency, Concerned Citizens for Community Health (Concerned Citizens), will be better poised to improve the quality of life for Scottsdale residents. Concerned Citizens is the a volunteer nonprofit arm of Scottsdale’s social service agency Vista del Camino.
Former Phoenix Suns coach and valley leader Jerry Colangelo’s nonprofit organization AZ Leaderforce, an Initiative of The Collaboration for a New Century (The Collab) named Concerned Citizens/Vista del Camino as one of six valley agencies to receive the Blue Ribbon Award. It cited Scottsdale for its proven track record in assisting those in need, innovation, community-based initiatives and outcomes-focused programs.
The Collab’s mission is to address and improve Arizona’s ranking in the United Ways “Caring Index,” which currently stands at 49th out of 50.
AZ LeaderForce coaches will mentor Vista del Camino staff for nine months to better improve community outreach, service delivery and education about programs and services.
