Nominations open until April 3 for ABEC’s “Best Practices in Business-Education Partnership Awards” Is your business-education partnership an example of a best practice? Are you seeing measured success in improving student achievement? If yes, then nominate your partnership today for ABEC’s “Best Practices” In Business-Education Partnership Awards. As part of its business-education partnership initiative, ABEC annually recognizes and promotes outstanding partnerships throughout the state of Arizona, and encourages expansion and creation of other programs based on successful models. In order to recognize more outstanding programs, ABEC has created the following award categories: Professional Development, Career Exploration, Volunteers, STEM, and Wellness – as well as awards for the Best Emerging Partnership, for programs less than three years old, and the Best Overall Partnership. The awards application is available here: http://tinyurl.com/busedapp and at http://www.azbec.org. Applications are due by 4 p.m. on Friday, April 3rd. Finalists in each category and award recipients will be honored at the 2009 ABEC Annual Conference to be held June 1. Interested? Go to http://www.azbec.org for more information or contact Ms. Swati Srivastava, Project Coordinator, at swati@azbec.org.
