Good to be lucky i’ll tell ya
No matter how many times I run dry of money
Its a trick to find a buddy with a bit o extra cash
Or if the weather gets some chilly and i have no coat
Theres always that bum that wants a dime fer coffee
I must admit the same goes fer me emotion too
Even if I feel as if the world around me is ashes
Theres always an extra cigarette butt in the ash tray
Or even if all the cigarettes in the world were smoked
Theres always Uncle Bob with an extra Cigar
Or If me heart were to be broken
They do say things are better off in sections anyway
They always say to never iron a clover
That ye dont wanna press yur luck
But ye know what I say
Wrinkles are fer old folks
I guess I always know in the end this simple fact
Even if their were no alchohol on St. Patties day
The ol Cough medicine will work just fine
