Indiana Jones Movie Crystal Skull Comes to Sedona Arizona.

(Sedona, AZ) - Cited as the inspiration for the recently released film, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, the Mitchell-Hedges Crystal Skull will appear in Sedona on Saturday, June 21 at the Sedona Creative Life Center, 333 Schnebly Hill Road, from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Producer George Lucas has had crystal skulls on the brain for years now: “We did ‘The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles,’ and in the process of that, one of the scripts we were working on was about a crystal skull,” he has said. “I became fascinated with it.” (NY Post, April 20, 2008).

This will be the skull’s first public appearance since the Cannes Film Festival. Bill Homann, keeper of the skull, will share a PowerPoint presentation on the history of this archeological artifact. A Summer Solstice Ceremony with a special guest from Belize. This event is a fundraiser for the Mayan Cultural Center being built in Belize near where the Crystal Skull was found.

Bill Homann, keeper of the skull and the Mitchell-Hedges Skull, appeared in the documentary film, “The Mystery of the Crystal Skulls”, which aired in May, 2008 on the Sci-Fi Channel.
