Blogger and Blogspot are down hard.
blogspot.com and blogger.com are both down as I write this.
The link above will no doubt have a long discussion of the problem and there may be a post eventually at the Blogger Status blog to explain what happened.

All appears to be working fine at Blogger and blogspot now.
blogger.com and blogspot.com are both working as expected this evening.
