Free Phoenix Workshop on Neighborhood Resources and City Services

Phoenix residents can learn who their community action police officers are, how to form a neighborhood association and what programs are available to them to improve their neighborhoods during a free workshop from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, at Phoenix City Hall, assembly room A, first floor, 200 W. Washington St.
The workshop, “Accessing City Hall,” is one of a series of seminars sponsored by the city of Phoenix Neighborhood Services Department that focuses on neighborhood improvement.
Future workshops include landlord/tenant issues, how to create a neighborhood newsletter, how to reduce blight and understanding neighborhood preservation ordinance violations.
The workshops are free, but registration is required. A complete listing of the workshops can be found at phoenix.gov/nsd.
