Volunteer Fair at Arizona Museum of Natural History
January 26, 2008 · Published By Kathee
The Arizona Museum of Natural History is looking for volunteers who are enthusiastic, energetic and interested in helping in a wide variety of areas. That is why the museum, located at 53 N. Macdonald in Mesa, is hosting a Volunteer Fair Friday February 1 from 10 a.m. to noon and Saturday February 2 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Arizona Museum of Natural History needs people to learn more about its exhibits and share that information with visitors, help in the Museum Store or assist in the administrative or collections offices. The volunteer opportunities include interpreters needed for an exciting new exhibition “Feathered Dinosaurs” opening March 1. There will also be volunteer opportunities in archaeology and paleontology.
The Volunteer Fair, which is free, will be held in the Museum Theater.
Drop by and discover how you can make a difference. Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age and in the ninth grade.
