Teach English in Japan for a School Year

Have you ever dreamed of teaching English in Japan? Phoenix Sister Cities is seeking college graduates, certified teachers and assistant language teachers for an opportunity to live and work abroad in Phoenix’s sister city of Himeji, Japan, during the 2008-09 school year.Selected participants will earn a salary plus benefits (medical and vacation) as well as free airfare to and from Himeji.
Recent college graduates with limited teaching experience are eligible to apply. Assistant language teachers will work as an assistant to Japanese instructors, teaching English at the junior high school level.
The employment dates are from Sept. 1, 2008 through Aug. 31, 2009. To apply, you must be at least 21 years old, a college graduate, a resident of Maricopa County and fluent in English.
