Ty Young is an Arizona native and longtime reporter for publications statewide. Most recently, he served as the technology, entrepreneurship and environmental reporter for the Phoenix Business Journal. Previous to that, he reported for The Arizona Republic, the Tucson Citizen and The Arizona Daily Wildcat. He is also a contributing writer for business and technology publications bizAz and Arizona Tech Connect. In an attempt to increase technology news exposure in the state, Ty recently created Az Tech News, a statewide technology news service. Writers for Az Tech News cover technology education and politics, semiconductor issues, cleantech and environmental sciences, IT communication and numerous other aspects of technology based here in the state.
