Tempe, AZ – Come see the coolest cars and guitars and get up to speed on prostate cancer. Two leading physicians from MD Anderson Cancer Center will share their prostate cancer expertise at a presentation in tandem with the Cars & Guitars exhibit at the Tempe Center for the Arts.

At the event, Drs. Deborah Kuban and John Davis will discuss prostate cancer prevention, the multi-disciplinary approach they use when treating patients, surgery, radiation options and active surveillance of the disease. This event is sponsored by Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center, opening in fall 2011 on the Banner Gateway campus in Gilbert. Registration is required for this event – 602.230-CARE. 123

Except for skin cancer, prostate cancer is the most common cancer in American men. It is estimated that more than 186,000 diagnoses occur each year. An important risk factor is age – more than 70 percent of those diagnosed with the disease are over the age of 65. African-American men have a much higher risk of prostate cancer.
