NHRA’s Top Stars Gunning to Gain Momentum for Successful 2010 Seasons During 26th Annual Arizona Nationals
Chandler, AZ – Antron Brown and Ron Capps both enjoyed tremendous 2009 National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, finishing third in the Top Fuel and Funny Car categories respectively. A major factor in both drivers’ 2009 success – a huge dose of early season momentum gained from winning last season’s Arizona Nationals.
Brown and Capps again lead another top field of drag racing superstars seeking to grab momentum for the 2010 season this February during the 26th Annual Arizona Nationals at Firebird International Raceway. Brown will challenge Top Fuel competitors such as defending world champion Tony Schumacher and his rival Larry Dixon, while Capps must face second-generation superstar Ashley Force-Hood and defending world champion Robert Hight. Another competitor named Force racing fans may have heard of – living legend John Force – is also expected to compete.
The 26th Annual Arizona Nationals also includes sportsman qualifying and elimination races and features the Ford High School Pit Crew Challenge, allowing some of Arizona’s best and brightest to put their mechanical skills to the test against competitors statewide.
