Free Arts of Arizona Partners with Harkins Theatres to tie Holiday Spirit in a Bow
PHOENIX, Ariz. – Free Arts of Arizona is partnering for the second year with Harkins Theatres this holiday season for its annual holiday bow fundraiser. The unique bows made from authentic movie trailers, can be purchased for $2 at Harkins Theatres throughout the Phoenix area. All the proceeds from the fundraiser go to programs and services for the children served by Free Arts of Arizona.
The holiday bows will be available from Nov. 26 — Dec. 25, while supplies last. There are nearly 4,000 bows available at 19 Harkins locations this year including Tempe Marketplace, San Tan Village, Chandler Fashion and Scottsdale101.
Harkins Holiday bows are extremely popular and anticipated to sell out before the end of the promotion. “We are so grateful be the chosen beneficiary,” says Heath Blumstein, Director of Development for Free Arts of Arizona. “Harkins Theatres has become an invaluable partner for keeping the programs of Free Arts available for the kids that need them most, right here in the Valley.”
The holiday bows were an existing element of Harkins fundraising programs, but since making Free Arts of Arizona the beneficiary; they have seen unrivalled success compared previous years.
Free Arts and Harkins Theatres give special thanks to Arizona Community Foundation, Cox Communications, the Key Club at Central High School, Phoenix Country Day School students and also the Free Arts volunteers and staff for their participation in assembling the bows to be sold this year.
