Scottsdale Healthcare Hosts Presentation on Rediscovering the Family Meal

Learn how to benefit from family meals at Dec. 15 presentation; Scottsdale Healthcare expert shares information, tips

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – The family meal is an important ingredient in raising happy, healthy children. Learn the benefits of the family meal and how to reap them during a special presentation at Scottsdale Healthcare Dec. 15, 6:30-8 p.m.

“Rediscovering the Family Meal” will feature a registered dietitian who will help participants discover:

• The nutritional, emotional and psychological benefits of the family meal
• Ways to engage the entire family in meal planning and preparation
• Tips for making the family meal a priority in busy schedules
• A nutrient-rich approach to foods that is a positive way to build healthy diets

“Rediscovering the Family Meal” will be held at the Conference Center at Scottsdale Healthcare Shea Medical Center, 9003 E. Shea Blvd. Cost is $25 per couple or $15 per individual.  Register by calling 480-882-4636.
