SRP Customers to Submit Unique Energy-Saving Ideas and Vote for their Favorite
PHOENIX – Salt River Project customers who have devised their own unique ways to save on electricity bills during the holidays are encouraged to share their ideas in a new contest launched this week on www.savewithsrp.com.
SRP will accept submissions from Nov. 16 through Dec. 15 and they will be judged by SRP customers between Dec. 16 and Dec. 20. The winner of the contest will receive a year membership at the Phoenix Zoo for a family of two adults and two children as well as eight passes to Zoo Lights. Second prize is an energy-saving gift pack valued at more than $100.
While SRP offers numerous ways for its customers to save energy – including decorating with low-energy use LED holiday lights – the new contest is a way for customers to share their own creative and unconventional holiday energy-saving ideas.
Participants can submit tips, photographs and videos by logging onto the www.savewithsrp.com website where they will be available for judging on Dec. 16.
