Hollywood Company Premieres an All-New Dinner Show Experience in Mesa

“The Howdy Show and Dinner Extravaganza” Takes Audiences Back in Time to the 1880s West

MESA, Ariz. - Hollywood production company Miziker Entertainment Group is hosting the premiere of an all-new dinner show experience, The Howdy Show and Dinner Extravaganza, today Friday, Nov. 13 in Mesa. Over 400 VIP guests will attend the premiere this evening, among them Arizona’s artists and performers as well as key city and state officials.

The 90-minute, Western themed experience integrates dinner and show into one interconnected performance, and offers an inviting, creatively charged atmosphere where adults and families can discover the magic of 1880s.

Produced by former Disney executive Ron Miziker and choreographed by Hollywood legend Jim Bates whose background stretches from appearing in Mary Poppins productions to dancing with Fred Astaire, the show embodies Disney-like sense of wonder with whimsical humor and style.

Designed with audience participation in mind, the show captivates the attention across all age groups. Scottsdale’s award winning stage actress and singer Lisa Fogel stars the show as Miss Kitty, who leads a raucous 1880s musical troupe through Gold Rush mining towns. She is joined by a talented cast of performers who transform the show into one “rib ticklin’, knee slappin’, hand clappin” experience.

“We created a brand new experience with the Howdy Show,” said Bobby Miziker, president of Miziker Entertainment. “Guests not only get dinner and a show but —everything about the experience – the venue, the cast, the food – will take them back in time for an evening. Plus, they’re integrated into all the action from the moment they arrive at the Ranch.”

As one of the only dinner shows in Arizona that incorporates the meal into the music and action, The Howdy Show’s various dinner courses are served by wait staff who are also part of the raucous singin’ and dancin’ cast.

Miziker Entertainment Group has produced shows in 17 countries and for all types of major attractions. Over the course of the last two decades, the company has established its reputation by producing one-of-kind shows and events for clients that include: Disney, Universal, Paramount and Fox Studios, the NFL Super Bowl, Olympic Games, Presidents Ronald Reagan and George Bush, Queen Elizabeth and the Sultan of Oman, among many others. Miziker’s currently running shows include “Lights of Liberty” show in Philadelphia and the “NightFire!” Spectacular at the Viejas Casino near San Diego.

The Howdy Show and Dinner Extravaganza includes a generous multi-course meal served family-style at various stages during the performance. The entrée includes both a stuffed chicken breast and tender braised short ribs, complimented by a garden salad and followed by warm apple pie ala mode. Complimentary beverages include Miss Kitty’s Special Brew (non-alcoholic), coffee, soda, and a choice of wine and beer. Premium cocktails are also available.

Silver Star general admission for adults is $39.95 at the door and $34.95 online. General admission for children ages 6 to 12 is $29.95 (children age 5 and under get in free). Gold Star VIP admission, which includes VIP check-in, front-and-center seating and an authentic piece of Howdy Gear, is $49.95 for adults and $39.95 for children.

The first season of The Howdy Show and Dinner Extravaganza runs through May 2010. November 2009 show dates include Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, and starting in December, the show will run Monday through Saturday. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. with the dinner and show starting at 6:30 p.m.
