Take Charge America to Host Free Foreclosure Prevention Seminar

Free “Home for the Holidays” Workshop Designed to Educate Homeowners; Advanced Registration is Required
PHOENIX – Take Charge America, a non-profit credit counseling and housing counseling agency, is hosting a “Home for the Holidays” Foreclosure Prevention Seminar on December 5.
Arizona homeowners who are experiencing financial hardships and struggling to keep their homes can attend the free workshops at 9 a.m., 10 a.m. or 11 a.m. Each workshop will cover:
- Alternatives to foreclosures
- How to talk to your lender
- Avoiding “rescue scams”
- Understanding mortgage rights
The event will be held at Take Charge America, which is located at 20620 N. 19th Ave. in Phoenix, near the Loop 101 and 19th Avenue. Seasonal activities will be provided for children while their parents or guardians attend the event.
Housing counselors will be available to answer individual questions and discuss probable options. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has certified Take Charge America as a housing counseling agency for Arizona residents at risk of foreclosure and to those who need financial guidance before purchasing a home.
