Tempe Celebrates Veterans Day 2009 with Mill Avenue Parade
Tempe, Arizona – Veterans will be honored Wednesday, Nov. 11, at Tempe’s annual Veterans Day Parade. The parade begins at 10 a.m., with veterans, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, high school marching bands and community members joining in this festive tribute. The parade begins near ASU Gammage at Mill Avenue and Apache Boulevard, and ends with a brief ceremony highlighting veterans’ sacrifices for America at Tempe Beach Park, at Mill Avenue and Rio Salado Parkway.

WHERE: North on Mill Avenue from ASU Gammage to Tempe Beach Park.
