Body Systems to Host Free Nutrition Seminar on Making Healthy Choices during the Holidays
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Body Systems, a Scottsdale-based fitness and nutrition consultancy, is hosting a free nutrition seminar to help Valley residents survive holiday temptations and create a lifetime of healthy eating habits.
The “Eat Smart Holiday Survival Seminar” will be held November 14 from 10am to 12pm at Foothills Sports Medicine, located at 5410 N. Scottsdale Rd., Suite A-100, in Paradise Valley.
Ben Brown, owner of Body Systems, will take a no-holds-barred look at which holiday foods taste good and are good for us, and which foods simply need to be avoided, and why. Attendees will learn how to make healthy decisions on a budget, be satisfied and lose weight. In-depth topics include:
- How to prepare for holiday parties
- Which holiday treats are better to eat than others
- Which dishes to bring to parties for an instant healthy hit
- Simple ways to plan for success
The event is free, but registration is required. Seating is limited to 25 people. Healthy snacks will be provided. All attendees will receive a 50 percent discount on one-on-one nutrition and fitness consultations.
