It’s A “Beautiful Day” at IMAX Theatre Arizona Mills With The Opening of U2 3D

Tempe, ARIZ. -  One of the world’s biggest bands, U2, is coming to Arizona through a 3D film providing moviegoers with a live concert experience by way of a six-stories-high and eight-stories-wide screen and 12,000 watts of digital surround sound. IMAX Theatre Arizona Mills is giving U2 fans the ultimate gift: the chance to win film tickets daily for U2 3D: The IMAX Experience, playing now through Thursday, Oct. 22.

U2 3D: The IMAX Experience places viewers within an immersive theatrical experience with innovative digital 3-D imagery and multi-channel surround sound. Shot in South America during the final leg of their “Vertigo” tour, the film takes the band’s fans on an extraordinary journey they will never forget as the producer essentially created a love letter to U2’s fans, with cameras set onstage for intimate close-ups.
