John Prine Set to Play Flagstaff, Phoenix and Tucson in November
(Phoenix, AZ) – Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter John Prine will bring his expansive folk catalogue to Flagstaff, Phoenix and Tucson during his 2009 tour. Special Guests The Grascals open the show. Prine’s Arizona performances are as follows:
Flagstaff at Ardrey Auditorium Wednesday, November 18 at 7:30 p.m.,
Phoenix at Dodge Theatre Friday, November 20 at 8:00 p.m.
Tucson at Fox Theatre Saturday, November 21 at 8:00 p.m.
John’s musical career spans more than 35 years. His songs have been covered by everyone from Bonnie Raitt to Bette Midler to Johnny Cash. His unique sound and imaginative lyrics allow a legendary reputation uncommon in the music world. Prine himself is the perfect vehicle for these tales, an unpretentious songwriter whose songs are strong enough to warrant the first invitation of a songwriter by the Poet Laureate of the United States to read at the Library of Congress.
Prine’s concerts are legendary on all parts of the globe for his humor, thoughtful lyrics about regular people and real life characters, as well as his true folksy roots. John is a true legend, and a performer you must see to say you have done it all! Don’t miss John Prine in concert.
