Phoenix Sister Cities is Accepting Spring Internship Applications

Phoenix, AZ – Phoenix Sister Cities is accepting applications for internships from college students interested in the following areas: nonprofit agencies, event planning, international business, communications, cultural diversity, economics, youth exchange programs, art, tourism, government and public relations. Applications are available online at phoenixsistercities.org and are due by 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, for the 2010 spring semester.
There are opportunities for paid and unpaid internships. Interviews will be on Nov. 12, with a mandatory internship orientation Jan. 14, 2010, before the internships begin Jan. 19.
Phoenix, the fifth-largest city in the United States, is increasing its global presence through Phoenix Sister Cities and other programs. The Phoenix Sister Cities program has enhanced Phoenix’s international image through numerous exchange programs and events developed and coordinated by Phoenix Sister Cities staff and its commission members.
