Educational Women’s Health Round Table Coming in September

Scottsdale, Ariz. – Arizona Breastnet, a breast imaging center in Scottsdale, and Natural Solutions for Women, a naturopathic practice for women, are holding a Women’s Health Educational Round Table on September 26th at the Mustang Library in Scottsdale.

Dr. Belinda Barclay-White, Founder and Medical Director of Arizona Breastnet, and Dr. Sima Aidun, a naturopathic physician in Scottsdale, have teamed up to bring this round table to women who are interested in learning more about women’s health. According to Dr. Barclay-White, “The format of this event is a round table discussion, where attendees will have the opportunity to openly ask questions to the panel about women’s health as it relates to:

• Female hormone imbalances in menopause and perimenopause
• Testing hormones: blood vs. saliva
• Using bioidentical hormones for hormonal imbalances
• Thyroid problems, adrenal fatigue
• Breast health (comparing different diagnostic imaging, their safety and accuracy, hormone replacement therapy and breast health)
• How to help protect against premature aging and sun damage by utilizing therapeutic concentrations of phyto-intensive, active natural skin products.”

Barclay-White is extremely pleased with the reaction from her patients. “We have received a tremendous response to the invitation because women today are very interested in receiving information about their health and are excited to participate in this type of event,” according to Barclay-White.

Because she is asked by her patients when they come in for their mammograms for specific information about menopause, hormones, and breast health exams, she felt this type of event would provide a chance for women to ask specific questions and hear what other women might question as well.
