2009 Special Olympics Arizona Leadership Conference

New and experienced coaches and volunteers are encouraged to attend

The 2009 Special Olympics Arizona Leadership Conference will be held for new and experienced coaches and volunteers throughout Arizona.  The conference will include training for all levels of coaches and local program volunteers.  The training will include a General Orientation about Special Olympics as well as sport-specific training.

WHEN:           Friday July 24, 2009 through Sunday, July 26, 2009

WHERE:         Fiesta Resort Conference Center, 2100 S. Priest Dr., Tempe, Ariz. 85282

Other sport-specific trainings will be hosted entirely at City of Tempe sports facilities. This information can be found at www.soaz.org.

WHO:              Open to the public

COST:            Conference registration fee is $30.  Additional fees for lodging and CPR/First Aid training.

The conference will include the 2009 Special Olympics Arizona Distinguished Service Awards ceremony. These awards are given annually to those who demonstrate exceptional commitment to both the Special Olympics movement as well as to the Athletes.
