Dennis J. Osuch, CPA Joins Credit Union Board

PHOENIX, Ariz.Desert Schools Federal Credit Union today announced that Dennis J. Osuch, CPA has joined the financial cooperative’s volunteer Board of Directors.

Desert Schools’ president and CEO, Susan Frank welcomed Osuch to his new post.

“Dennis brings over a decade of consulting and audit services to more than 100 cities, towns, school districts and not-for profit organizations right here in Arizona. He is a savvy financial professional who will help our Board continue a 70-year tradition of responsible fiduciary practices,” said Frank.

Osuch is currently managing partner of Cronstrom, Osuch & Company, P.C. and has served on the Credit Union’s supervisory committee for the past year.

He is a graduate of Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and has a successful history of service in the financial sector with local companies that include Prestige Homes, American Express and Dean Witter Reynolds.

 

Osuch is also an active member of the ASU Professional Advisory Board and the Government Finance Officers Association of Arizona.

 

The role of the Desert Schools Board is to set polices that are implemented and maintained by management. They also appoint a Supervisory Committee to ensure that the Board and management abide by Desert Schools’ written policy and that financial records are accurate.
