Final Presentation and Awards Ceremony
The Tribal Council has spoken and awards nine caterers who competed for the best appetizer designation are presented to the crowd and then the awards are presented to the winner and two runners up. The 2009 Caterer Survivor Unique Networking Event was produced by A New Impression at EuroDream Kitchens on June 10, 2009. Nine different catering companies competed for the honor of being selected for the best appetizer.
Private Chef Zipora made Roasted Tomato Boots with Fresh Goat Cheese and Fresh Herbs. Lady Diana from Lady Diana’s Cakes and Catering made a Vanilla Butter Wedding Cake, a Gluten Free Chocolate Buttermilk Cake and a Rich Carrot Cake Cupcake. The Bamboo Club made Pan Seared Scallops. Alasta Catering made a Wonton Short Rib Taco with Mango Salsa and a Sweet Chilli Sauce. Melody Larsen with Sassy C’s Catering made an Applewood Smoked White Cheddar Filled Pastry Garnished with Apple Wood Smoked Bacon and Green Onions.
All About Catering made Mini Angus Beef Sliders. Minda Pochenko and Jill McKee With Piece of Cake Catering made Herbed Breadsticks with Marinara Sauce. A Tasteful Occasion Catering made Ramaki – a water chestnut wrapped in bacon and dipped in homemade sweet and sour sauce. Will’s Catering made Baked Chicken Wings in a plum and Orange Sauce with a touch of Ginger.
