Public Invited to Paolo Soleri Birthday Celebration

Celebration of Paolo Soleri’s 90th Birthday and the Future Site of the Soleri Bridge and Plaza in Downtown Scottsdale

Scottsdale, AZ – Scottsdale Public Art will host a special celebration on the Marshall Way Bridge for renowned architect, artist and cultural icon Paolo Soleri on the occasion of his 90th birthday. The event will be also be a chance for the public to view renderings of the future Soleri Bridge and Plaza.

Scottsdale will be home to the world’s first bridge designed and constructed by Soleri. The bridge and plaza will be a signature cultural destination for Scottsdale and one of the most important works ever created by Soleri. Final construction plans for the Soleri Bridge and Plaza will be complete this fall.

WHEN:            Sunday, June 21st 7 a.m.

WHERE:         Marshall Way Bridge in Downtown Scottsdale (Crosses the Arizona Canal in downtown Scottsdale, just west of the intersection of Scottsdale and Camelback roads)

Parking is available south of Camelback Road in Fashion Square Mall’s Nordstrom parking garage
