Summer Caregiver Training Classes Offered at Gateway CC

Gain new job skills or prep to be a volunteer in a growing field with caregiver classes at GateWay
PHOENIX, Arizona – The demand for qualified caregivers in the healthcare industry continues to rise and those interested in finding career or volunteer opportunities in the field are invited to attend one of GateWay Community College caregiver classes this summer.
As a part of GateWay’s unique Caregiver Program, these classes prepare students for careers as caregivers in as little as 40 hours. And, as the only program of its kind in Maricopa County, the innovative program offers short term training and job assistance, partnerships with employers, family caregiving awareness/education and access to community networks.
Principles of Caregiving Summer Class Sessions
- June 22-25, 29-July 2, 5 to 10 p.m., GateWay Community College Campus, 108 N. 40th Street, Phoenix
- July 13-20, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., GateWay Community College Campus, 108 N. 40th Street, Phoenix
- August 17 – 2, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., City of Phoenix Hope VI Project, 1150 S. 7th Avenue, Phoenix
