Public feedback sought for Kyrene Math curriculum

The public is asked to provide feedback on revised Mathematics Curriculum for Kyrene Elementary School District
Tempe, AZ - On April 28, 2009, the revised curriculum for Mathematics was presented to the Kyrene Governing Board for a first reading. The document will remain open to the Kyrene Community until May 20, 2009, in order to collect comments and feedback from teachers, parents, and community members. Access to the revised curriculum information is available via a special CURRICULUM REVIEW button on the front page of the Kyrene School District website at http://www.kyrene.org/ksdportal/.
Parents, teachers, and community members are encouraged to use the links provided to read the revised curriculum objectives and then provide feedback. All feedback will reviewed by the Kyrene Curriculum and Instruction Department.
A recommendation regarding this curriculum will be made at the Governing Board Meeting on May 26, 2009.
