Chandler Home Foreclosure Workshop Canceled Due to School Closure

The City of Chandler Neighborhoods Division canceled the Home Foreclosure workshop scheduled at Hartford Elementary School, 700 N. Hartford in Chandler for April 30, 2009.  The school is closed for 5 school days in response to a student testing positive for Swine Flu. The meeting will be rescheduled at a later date.

The Chandler City Council approved a program aimed at helping buyers of foreclosed Chandler homes.  The $1.4 million program will be funded through a grant from the U.S. Housing and Urban Development Neighborhood Stabilization Program.  An informational workshop explaining the program was scheduled for tonight, and will be rescheduled at a later time.
