Julie Robinson, President of Jani-King Southwest, Helps to Raise Awareness for AIBH with an invitation to the Pink Cap Society
(Phoenix, AZ) – As a successful business person, mother to three children, and active volunteer, Julie Robinson, President of Jani-King Southwest, wears a lot of hats. But the Pink Cap that she sports on behalf of Arizona Institute for Breast Health (AIBH) may be the one she’s most proud of.
AIBH is a 501(c) 3 local, non-profit organization that offers women diagnosed with breast cancer the opportunity for a second opinion on their diagnosis and treatment options, by their board of medical specialists, free of charge. As an AIBH board member, Robinson is inviting people interested in getting involved in the fight against breast cancer to consider becoming a part of AIBH’s Pink Cap Society.
Men and women are encouraged to attend the Pink Cap Society inaugural meeting and social on Thursday, April 30 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Farrelli’s Cinema Supper Club Lounge, 14202 North Scottsdale Road.
At the event, prospective “Pink Caps” will learn how they can get involved with AIBH at a level that works for them, while meeting the organization’s board and enjoying food a drink. Each Pink Cap Member will receive their own Pink Cap when they join. To RSVP, please e-mail Wendy Farrelli at Farrellis@cox.net.
“We are a fun, small group that is committed to making a big difference,” relates Robinson. “Through the efforts of committed AIBH volunteers, we have been able to help hundreds of women and their loved ones fighting this diagnosis, all over Arizona.”
