Roka Akor Offers Sushi Master Class

Guests learn to create sushi from one of the top 10 sushi spots in the US
Scottsdale, AZ - Roka Akor, recently named one of Bon Appétit’s “Top 10 Sushi Spots” in the US, is now hosting Sushi Master Classes. Guests are invited to learn Roka Akor’s tips and tricks for re-creating some of the acclaimed restaurant’s signature sushi dishes and sake parings.
The first class will be offered on Saturday, June 13 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. with limited space available.
From butterfish tataki, California maki, tuna sashimi and nigiri, and sushi rice, participants will receive a hands-on sushi making lesson from the executive chef himself, Roman Petry.
The Sushi Master Class is just $60 a person, which includes sampling your creations, take home recipes and sake pairings.
“I’m thrilled to provide our guests an intimate peek into our restaurant and an unforgettable experience,” said executive Roka Akor chef, Roman Petry. “I love getting to know our community and having the opportunity to teach them the ins and outs of sushi making; it will make for an exciting afternoon.”
In addition to Roka Akor’s Sushi Master Class on June 13, they will continue to hold the class on the second Saturday of each month. Additionally, their Robata 101 Class, where guests learn how to expertly prepare dishes over the open flame Robata grill, will be held on the fourth Saturday of each month.
