Donna Hartley to encourage conference participants to “Fire Up” their hearts, lives with inspirational speech
PHOENIX, Arizona – Donna Hartley, a well-known public speaker and author, has survived situations most people can only imagine, including a devastating plane crash, cancer and unexpected open heart surgery. Because of these events, she now speaks to audiences around the world inspiring them to “fire up” and discover their untapped potential.
As a heart disease survivor, Hartley is an avid supporter of cardiac care and will be the keynote speaker at the upcoming 11th Annual Cardiac Care Conference hosted by Banner Health and GateWay Community College, taking place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday, May 7, 2009 at Desert Willow Conference Center, 4340 East Cotton Center Blvd.
“Heart health knowledge is absolutely crucial, especially to women who are often the caretakers and may overlook the slight signs of heart disease or have no symptoms at all,” Hartley said. “I hope that the people who listen to my speech are inspired to honor their health daily, even in the smallest ways.”
At the conference, Hartley will talk about the power of healthy living and positive thinking during her “Fire Up Your Heart!” presentation. Because of this important health issue, Banner Health and GateWay CC encourage anyone interested to attend the conference to hear Hartley speak as well as gain crucial information about cardiac care.
The conference is open to the public and registration cost is $100. For more information or to register for the conference, contact Janey Buri in the GateWay Nursing Program at 602-286-8546 or buri@gatewaycc.edu. For more information on Donna Hartley, visit www.donnahartley.com.
