Kiwanis Recreation Center Tennis has professional stringing available
TEMPE, Ariz. – Is it time to restring your tennis racquet? In order to stay in top tennis form, you need to restring your tennis racquet regularly. Different tensions & types of strings can combine to give the ball a different bounce. When your strings are in great condition, it can improve your game!
Racquet stringing expert, Josh Basha, will have your racquet inspected, tuned up, and restrung within 72 hours. “If you play three times a week, you should re-string your racquet three times a year. The tightness of the strings can give you more control or more power. The string type is also a factor in performance,” Basha advises.
Customized racquet stringing starts at $20.00. If a string is broken; if the tension is gone, or if you just feel like trying a new string, Kiwanis Recreation Center is the place for all of your racquet needs. It’s located at 6111 S All America Way in Tempe. Please give us a call at 480-350-5201 or 480-350-5050 TTY. You can visit us on the web at www.tempe.gov/tennis.
