Changing Hands Bookstore is proud to present Changing Hands Outdoors: A series of hiking events each with a unique theme to expand your mind, body and spirit. Each hike includes a sack lunch from the Wildflower Bread Company. You will be asked for a sandwich preference when making your reservation. Sign up is limited, so please call us at 480.730.0205, stop by or email for one or more of these hikes. Once you have registered for a hike, you will receive a confirmation email with directions to the trail head. Ending times vary. Hikes are approximately 4-5 hours.
Land & Gesture: Drawing and Hiking
with Steven Yazzie

Saturday, March 21, 9am A light hike and drawing exercise aimed at giving the participant a unique “plein air” drawing experience. Bring drawing utensils and a journal.Steven Yazzie received his education at Phoenix College and the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. His work has been exhibited at the Heard Museum, and the Phoenix Art Museum, Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, and in Spain and The Czech Republic. His recent work addresses concerns of urbanism in the twenty-first century, particularly in the southwestern United States.
Cost: $30 for one includes lunch
