Changing Hands Bookstore is proud to present Changing Hands Outdoors: A series of hiking events each with a unique theme to expand your mind, body and spirit. Each hike includes a sack lunch from the Wildflower Bread Company. You will be asked for a sandwich preference when making your reservation. Sign up is limited, so please call us at 480.730.0205, stop by or email for one or more of these hikes. Once you have registered for a hike, you will receive a confirmation email with directions to the trail head. Ending times vary. Hikes are approximately 4-5 hours.
Family Hike

Saturday, March 28, 9am Author Robert Mesta leads a hike for children eight years and up (with an adult companion) to introduce kids to a whole new world – - outdoors.
Robert Mesta is an ornithologist and a member of the Yaqui Tribe of southern Arizona. Mesta has spent his entire professional career working to protect, conserve, and recover threatened and endangered North American bird populations. Condor: Spirit of the Canyon is his first book.
Ages: 8+
Cost: $35 includes Condor: Spirit of the Canyon, two lunches, (one adult admission and one child). Each additional child or adult $7
