Cubs spring training tickets to go on sale

Individual game tickets for the 2009 Chicago Cubs home spring training games at Hohokam Stadium will go on sale Tuesday, Jan. 6 at 9 a.m. MST on www.cubs.com or by calling 1-800-905-3315. The ticket box office at Hohokam Stadium will open for the sale of individual game tickets Tuesday, Jan. 13 at 9 a.m. MST. Season tickets and group sales for 2009 Cubs games at Hohokam Stadium go on sale Wednesday, Jan. 7 at the Hohokam box office or by calling 480-964-4467.
The Cubs will have a record 19 home games at Hohokam Stadium during the 2009 spring training season. The first game is Wednesday, Feb. 25 against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Five home games will be played in the first seven days of the spring season, and the Cubs will conclude the Arizona portion of the schedule Thursday, April 2 against the Cleveland Indians at Hohokam Stadium.
Hohokam Stadium has added more than 300 additional seats, including an expanded three-tiered tent on the right field lawn. The outfield tent can accommodate up to 230 attendees.
Private catered events in the Stadium’s suites, patio and tent can be reserved now. Suite tickets are $60 per person and include admission to the game, the Ballpark Buffet and seats in the exclusive sky boxes. Patio tickets are $35 per person, and include the Ballpark Buffet, and require an additional purchase of seats elsewhere in the Stadium.
Tent tickets are $21 per person and offer the only shaded seats in the high-demand lawn area. Tent tickets do not include catering, but groups can make arrangements in advance for private catered functions in this area. The suites and patio require a minimum number of attendees, and the tent requires a minimum if catering is desired. Reservations for the suites, patio and tent (with catering) can be made now by calling 480-644-2171.
