Farrelli’s Holiday Deals Benefit Community and Help Beat Recession

Scottsdale, AZ – Farrelli’s Cinema Supper Club, Arizona’s ONLY restaurant that shows movies, is offering customers many ways to enjoy, save and help the community this holiday season. “I don’t think there is a person or business that hasn’t been dramatically affected by the economy right now,” says owner Wendy Farrelli. “The effect to our bottom line hasn’t been as bad as it could be. We have many aspects to our business that create multiple revenue streams, so we are doing OK…and, as I have been saying to my staff – OK seems to be the new GREAT.”

Farrelli has seen that when times get tough like this, people still want an escape, even if it is only for a few hours. “If we can make it affordable for people, maybe they will choose to spend their dollars with us. We are really grateful to our loyal customers, so offering deals on everything that we do from gift certificates to events and catering, is one way we can show our appreciation,” as stated by Farrelli. Management and staff got together and came up with some very creative ways to offer discounts on all components of the business. It brought them together for a larger cause and they felt very good about being involved in the process.

According to Farrelli, “Something else that keeps us all positive at Farrelli’s is to help people that are in need. We always try to remember to be grateful for everything we do have.” Since they are all about food, their staff is organizing a food drive with a twist. When a customer brings in a donation of 10 non-perishable food items, they are offering two FREE movie tickets for their contribution to the cause. The donated items will help fill “The Pantry” at the Happily Ever After League, (HEAL), a local nonprofit organization that helps families with parents going through a cancer diagnosis.
