Ikei Sports Performance Teams Up With the Travis Laboy Foundation to Raise Awareness and Support for Autism
Scottsdale, Arizona – Ikei Performance, Scottsdale’s exclusive sports performance and fitness training center has teamed up with The Travis LaBoy Foundation – Supporting Autistic Causes for Kids (S.A.C.K.). Together they have created the Warrior Fitness Challenge to raise awareness and support for Autism. The event will run through the 2008-09 NFL season. The challenge is for fitness enthusiasts of all ages, the top performers will win great prizes and all proceeds will go to the Travis Laboy Foundation for Autistic children.
The Warrior Fitness Challenge is the perfect balance of cardio & strength training blended together to help participants get one step closer to achieving their health and fitness goals. The Warrior Fitness Challenge takes participants through a circuit of five simple exercises in just 30 minutes. The circuit consist of pull up’s, push-up’s, squats, sit-up’s and a 300-yard Run. Each participant will be required to perform a specific number of repetitions of each exercise and accomplish a specific number of rounds during the 30 minute time allotment. Ikei Performance will make adjustments for those that may have difficulty performing specific exercises.
“This is a fun and rewarding way to kick-start your fitness program. You can do something that benefits your health and give back to children with Autism at the same time. People can really have fun with it too, by challenging their friends, co-workers and family members to see who makes the record board. We will also be holding a drawing for some great prizes at the end of the Challenge on Super Bowl weekend. All participants have a chance to win.” States Chad Ikei, owner of Ikei Sports Performance.

The challenge will take place at both Ikei Performance locations, Scottsdale – 9525 E. Doubletree Ranch Road, Suite 104, Scottsdale, AZ 85258 or Chandler – 2223 W. Pecos Road, Suite 10, Chandler, AZ 85224. Cost for single entry is $25 and $35 for two participants, all proceeds will benefit S.A.C.K. Participants can step up and take the challenge any time between 6am – 7pm, Monday through Friday. Please call ahead to schedule your challenge time.
