(Scottsdale, AZ) – Youth artists from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale will showcase and sell their artwork on Saturday, December 13, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Artistic Mystic Gallery, located at 2050 N. Alma School Road, Suite 35 (northwest corner of Warner and Alma School Roads) in Chandler, Arizona 85224. The sale of the artwork will go back to each individual artist. The exhibit will feature acrylic on canvas paintings from twenty Club kids that range from 8 to 16 years of age. This is a free exhibit and refreshments will be served.
The children have learned their craft from acclaimed local Native American painter, Joseph Wolves Kill, who has been involved with the art program at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale for over eight years. Joseph dedicates his time and shares his artistic insight with the young artists who someday hope to walk in his footsteps. His art has been shown throughout the U.S., as well as in Europe and Japan. Joseph has illustrated a children’s book as well as designed numerous album and book covers and special event posters. He will also be on hand during the exhibition.
Artistic Mystic Gallery is owned and operated by Deborah Silvis and features artwork, photography, jewelry and Native American artwork created by Southwest artists. New work is rotated every 2-3 months. For more information about the gallery please call 480-917-4566.
