Portland, OR. – Valley residents will soon have an ally in the battle against clutter and chaos with the exciting December debut of Storables. With a passion to “make room for living,” Storables recently announced plans to open its second Valley location at Dana Park in Mesa.
The 16,000-square-foot store will carry functional, well-designed products that provide organizational solutions for any room in your home. The chain also offers free design service for their custom closet and shelving solutions.
As part of the store’s Grand Opening weekend, taking place Dec. 4 through 7, 20 percent of the sales proceeds from the kids’ department will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of the East Valley. And to add to the excitement of the store opening in December, the store is also sponsoring a thrilling closet makeover contest, where entrants have the opportunity to submit a photo of their unorganized closet, along with a 500-word or less essay describing why their closet is the most unorganized and how an organized closet will make life easier. The grand prize winner will receive an amazing in-home closet design session, custom closet system and installation. All entries are required to be received at the new Mesa store location by December 16, 2008.
Location, Location, Organization: ”Dana Park is an ideal location for Storables,” said Lori Gilmour, Storables’ vice president. “As a former East Valley resident, I couldn’t be more excited to introduce Storables to the area.”
The Portland-based company, which currently operates eight retail stores, including one in Scottsdale, will open on the north end of Dana Park (the center is located on the southwest corner of Val Vista Drive and US 60).
Organizing Experts: With a focus on function, style and versatility, Storables is the place to go for tools and inspiration to “make room for living.” Along with an affordable and stylish product selection, the store also features consulting services and organizational workshops – increasingly important services for customers as product lines and customer demands continue to expand. Storables’ merchandising vice president, Tim Robson, travels the world to find unique and special products that provide flexibility, style and function, as well as value. Many items are designed by Storables to meet specific customer needs.
A Small Business Organized for Success: Founded in 1981, in Portland, Oregon, the independently owned company has locations in Oregon, Washington, California, Minnesota and Arizona. For more information and/or employment opportunities, please visit http://www.storables.com/.
