DON’T DELAY, GET TRAINED IN CPR THIS FALL
The hustle and bustle of the holiday season is just around the corner. Before you start making plans for travel, shopping, and decorating, take time to learn CPR, a valuable skill that could save the life of a loved one.
Approximately 1,000 people die every day in the United States because they suffered a cardiac arrest outside of the hospital. However, death from sudden cardiac arrest is not inevitable. If more people react quickly by calling 911, performing CPR, and using an AED, more lives can be saved.
CPR certification classes are scheduled for the first Saturday of each month from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Scottsdale Police and Fire Headquarters (8401 E. Indian School Road). Cost is $30 per person. Pre-registration is required, as space is limited.
To register, call (480) 312-7957.
For a complete listing of upcoming classes including Community CPR, CPR-Pro, First Aid and Babysitter courses, visit www.ScottsdaleAZ.gov/fire/CPRclasses.
For more information, call (480) 312-1815.
