Award-Winning Retailer Encourages Valley Residents to “Give More This Holiday Season”

Vestar will match three dollars of every gift card sale and donate the proceeds to Phoenix Children’s Hospital.  The gift cards are available for purchase now.

Customers that purchase a Vestar gift card would be encouraged to “Give More This Holiday Season” by purchasing the special holiday gift card for one dollar more, which directly benefits Phoenix Children’s Hospital, with the hopes of raising over $20,000.

“We are thrilled that Vestar chose Phoenix Children’s Hospital as its charitable partner during the holiday season,” said Steve Schnall, senior vice president of the Hospital’s Foundation.  “And the holiday gift card is a great option for shoppers, who support the hospital with every purchase.”

Vestar worked with Phoenix Children’s Hospital to have a custom gift card holder designed for the program.  This year, three-year-old Jazmyn, whose sister is a cancer patient at the Hospital, created the unique picture used for the program design.

All Vestar’s Arizona properties are participating in the holiday gift card promotion.  Customers can purchase the gift cards at Desert Ridge Marketplace and Tempe Marketplace or online at www.mall-giftcard.com/vestar.  The gift card is issued by U.S. Bank and is a Visa branded gift card.
