His most recent novels, 2012 and the Grays, are both being made into feature films.

Mr. Strieber’s website, Unknowncountry.com, is the largest website of its kind in the world, providing news of the edge of science and reality. It is also the home of his popular radio program, Dreamland.
Since having a close encounter of the third kind in 1985, Mr. Strieber has devoted himself to the study of this strange phenomenon. His Communion Foundation was a pioneer in the area of physical evidence research, and he has facilitated some of the only scientific analysis of anomalous implanted objects in human beings. He is also deeply concerned about changes in the planetary environment, and has written extensively on this subject as well. With Anne Strieber, he maintains the largest repository of anecdotal descriptions of close encounters of the third kind, and has worked to provide the public with accurate and objective information about the phenomenon.
